Can I change the code I originally chose?

Yes - theres a small wheel on inside that you turn to reset, change the code to what you want and then turn the wheel back again

can i get this open once a code has been entered and that code will not open the lock?

No 😩 my son had fiddled with it and it didn’t unlock again, had to saw it off!! Ended up buying another one, I keep this one well away from little ones!

Size 1 or 2. What is the difference?

I do not know - but beware - the combination part of this lock does not fit in the space between the handle and the door on the cupboard I wanted it for. You need at least 3.5 cms space.
