Just recently, I’ve dove into the world of natural and hand dyed yarn. When you spend that much time on an item (weeks usually), you really want to care for it. Not to mention, the last step in knitting is blocking, and you definitely want to do that right! I was concerned with how my projects will behave with just regular wool wash and even more so, how I’m going to clean them in the future. Then i found this product! It’s perfect! The no rinse means little agitation on my projects and it’s easy on the hand dyed yarn! There is no fragrance so that’s great! You don’t need very much every time, so it’s a lot of washes in one bottle, great value! My husband started using it to clean his knee pads too since he’s concerned throwing it in the wash would stretch it out. The no rinse means it gets cleaned but he doesn’t have to wring it out! I also use this for my baby’s woolen clothes, and it’s been very gentle on skin with no irritation. You really don’t need to use much for each wash too, so one bottle of this stuff will last you a while.I also like that it’s unscented, it makes it easy to use and gentle on delicate fabrics, and on your skin. I haven’t had any issues with residue.Overall, this is my go-to for washing wool and other delicate natural fibers.
