I mixed it with stain and put it on my log cabin. Put it in water and when the water evaporates then there is nothing to bind the product to the surface. Will just wash off in the next rain. Use it only as recommended by manufacturer and you can't go wrong. Great product really works. **Q: How many gallons does this treat** A: It treats one gallon of paint, stain or sealant. Works FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I've used it for years and currently used it in a rental where there were ant problems. No more ant problems. This Bug Juice is awesome. **Q: will this work if it has been frozen?** A: I keep it in an unheated garage and usually get a couple seasons worth.
