Master Of Puppets (Remastered)

Bought for grandson. So never heard it

A great sounding version of a fantastic album. Pricey, but worth it if you’ve not got this album on vinyl . I wouldn’t buy it if I’d already had it though.

The ALbum is A classic, no need to review that, Sounds great going off the recent remaster, the vinyl is coloured Brick red and you also get a download code, listen to it on Denon TT with 2m blue cart

Obviously we all know it's a great album having heard it and owned it many many times on various formats ove the years. Having got back into vinyl over the past couple of years I was was pleased to hear that Metallica would be rereleasing "the first five" on coloured vinyl. As a big fan of the first five growing up as a teenager in the early nineties I jumped at the chance to own brand new copies of them all on this format so pre ordered them all as soon as I could. They all sound great so far, there is no doubt about that. However, I do not feel that the colours are quite as vibrant as previously advertised... Even when held up to a light source they seem quite muddy in comparison to the pictures they used to announce the release. Not really a big deal for me though as I bought them to listen to not look at. Perhaps the most annoying thing about my copy of Master of Puppets though is that both sides are labeled as Side 1. I wonder if this was a one off mistake or more have been produced with this error? I'll hang on to it though.... Who knows, I may have inadvertently received a collectors item for someone to find in a charity shop in years to come after I'm gone! Lol.

Nothing to complain about, Vinyl is absolutely incredible! But side a and b labels are the wrong sides! Might be a misprint, not sure if for all copies.

A musically-inclined friend said Metallica don't need to be metal because unlike some, they can actually play. "One" and "Master Of Puppets" prove that with excellent instrumentals. "Master Of Puppets" describes drug use, emphasising the negative. "One" shows a man kept alive against his will, and he can't even tell the docs. And "The Thing That Should Not Be" has to be about Cthulhu - how many Metallica fans have even heard of Lovecraft? Superb album, bringing my long-ago days as a student to mind (getting wrecked at Sparrows by 3am!).

Master of Puppets ist und bleibt das Herzstück jeder Metallica-Sammlung – und diese limitierte Edition in Orange und Lila ist einfach grandios! Der Remaster bringt den ikonischen Sound glasklar und druckvoll rüber, ohne den Charme des Originals zu verlieren. Das farbige Vinyl sieht fantastisch aus und macht diese Ausgabe zu einem echten Sammlerstück. Pflichtkauf für alle, die Metal lieben!

Comes in a cardboard slip case, not a nice jewel case. Otherwise fine, just doesn't sit well on the shelf

Widely considered Metallicas breakthrough and greatest album. It is great, but I've always been partial to Ride The Lightning. But a great album nonetheless. Snd it's orange!! If that matters
