It works if not heavy handed

Well fantastic really .. I sharpened two fine cutting bread knives , a small work knife, and a large double pointed roast meat double bladed knife in well ....next to no time at all.. really astonishing and " edgy " to a delicately placed thumb feel .. missus most impressed and high " brownie" points for me .. so so very pleased , not the cheapest but well constructed solid tip and plastic top cover.. unless it gets lost ...which I would not wish on self... it will last me a veritable lifetime.... nice full marks well worth the cash.

Don't be mislead by the size ;) this does exactly what it states. It is not some tacky plastic tool but a weighty tool designed specifically for sharpening that awkward blade on your secateurs. Easy to handle and the blade sharpened in no time. Not a bad price and a handy tool to have as apparently it can sharpen your scissors too.

A nifty little tool, that puts a good edge on my secateurs. Robustly built, but small enough to slip in my pocket.

This product is amazing!! It's a quick and straight forward tool. It's not a tool to sharpen from scratch, but more towards fine tuning a sharpen edge after usage. Think of Pual Bunyan. If he had this tool for his large axe, he would have won. Something that I was actually surprise was the lifetime guarantee.. I've opened my package and had a note saying lifetime guarantee. I wish they put a string handle on it but it sharpeners great

It takes a lot of metal off the blade. Only good for garden sheirs, snips or Evan lawnmower blades. Do not use on knifes.
