Researched Nutritionals Microbinate - Microbial Health Complex - Promotes Healthy Inflammation Response, Biofilm Disruption & Immune Support - Olive Leaf, Oregano & Turmeric Extract (120 Capsules)

The ingredients in this Microbinate supplement by Researched Nutritionals are ones that I’ve taken individually in the past for their antimicrobial (h pylori) properties, so I’m very curious to see how I do with them in combination. The reviewing guidelines say that we can’t make any medical claims for supplements, or say if they alleviated any particular complaint; but I think I can safely say that each one of these individual ingredients is well-researched for its antimicrobial properties. I might try taking it with NAC to further increase its anti-biofilm effects, if I can tolerate the combination. The company has not suggested this, it is just an idea I had based on past supplementation. Researched Nutritionals is the first supplement manufacturer I’ve seen that provides detailed information about each manufacturing lot. I went to their website and clicked the three bars on the upper left, then clicked “Product Lot Lookup” and typed in the number from the bottom of the bottle. It brought up a page showing expiry dates and whether the lot passed quality tests. I’ve included screenshots, so you can see what I mean. I assume every lot’s page says “Passed”, otherwise they wouldn’t release the product. The testing is probably done in-house, or is performed by the manufacturer, since no third-party lab name is given. The Product Lot webpage for this Microbinate bottle says: Total plate count <10000 cfu/g Yeast & Mold <1000 cfu/g Coliforms <100 cfu/g E. Coli, Absent Salmonella, Absent Staphylococcus aureus, Absent Lead <10 ppm Arsenic <1 ppm Cadmium <10 ppm Mercury <10 ppm The capsules do have a scent but it’s hard to describe. It’s a bit spicy, a bit plasticky. Reminds me a bit like a glue scent of new shoes, with an overlay of an organic herbal peppery scent. Like I said, it’s hard to describe. I trust the brand, so I assume the weird scent is just from the mix inside, and not from anything dangerous. The scent is not off-putting to me, it’s just weird. The capsules are medium-sized at ⅞” long, are easy to swallow, and have a momentary peppery flavor that does not linger. I had a slight burning sensation afterward, but I have GERD, so that’s not too uncommon. The bottle had a zip-off plastic shrink-wrap overwrap over the cap, a normal (not child-proof) cap, and a high-quality pull-tab foil seal. There was no packing cotton. The bottle contained 121 capsules, one more than promised, with all capsules filled and none cracked. The powder inside all capsules was a uniform pale Dijon-mustard color. No loose powder was in the bottle. The lot number and expiry date were stamped clearly on the base of the bottle. The expiration date was 08/2025, or 15 months from date of delivery. As for suggestions, it might be nice to add a note about the “Lot Number Lookup” on the bottles, as that’s a nice selling point. Also the date on the lot webpage appears to be in European format (DD/MM/YYYY), not US format (MM/DD/YYYY), which is a bit confusing. For example, my bottle has an expiry date of “08/2025” printed on the bottle, but it shows “01/08/2025” on the lot information page.

I love the ingredients in this supplement, which was the reason I decided to order it. I have taken oregano oil tincture but it can be potent and hard to stomach. I love oregano but even diluted, the flavor is strong. But oregano oil is so beneficial (in my opinion one of the most beneficial of all herbs/plants). I also like the olive oil extract, tumeric extract and Monolaurin. Monolaurin is great and I suggest looking up it's benefits. For me, the use for CFS is valuable. I did not know what Allicin was but after research discovered it is basically a Garlic supplement. And Garlic does have amazing therapeutic properties. All of these promote a strong immune system and bacteria fighting naturally. I love this blend and have been taking it for a couple of weeks now. My energy level has improved already, quite noticeably in fact as well as an other remarkable way this has aided me. Unfortunately I can not go into detail in a review. I did start with 1 capsule a day, then after a few days took 1 capsule twice a day. In the last week I have upped the servings to 2 in the morning and 1 later in the day. I wanted to slowly increase the dose, as I have had bad experiences with supplements in the past. Thankfully I have had no bad side effects, and feel a positive difference. I am happy to have ordered this. Wonderful, effective and something I will 100% keep ordering and taking. Oh and I did research country of manufacturing since I was curious, and it seems like all Researched Nutritional products are made in the USA.

I have used olive leaf extract and oregano leaf extract before but never together! And this adds allicin from garlic. These plants offer powerful microbial protection in a safe and all-natural formulation! I absolutely love this, and they did NOT use magnesium stearate to make the capsules, superb! I take these with food, just in case they might be too strong and cause irritation, but I have not had any issues. There is no strong taste or odor eighter. I've used this company a couple of times now and am pretty happy with their products because as their name suggests, Researched Nutritionals, they use ingredients in their supplements that have scientific merit. The plants here provide a myriad of benefits for keeping problematic microbes at bay, and there's plenty of literature on them! I feel good recommending this supplement.

I saw this come up on Vine and decided to give it a try as I am at a point in my life where I'm trying to maximize my health and wellbeing. These capsules are easy to swallow, and have a medium to mild flavor of oregano or some other such ingredient. It's not bad, but it's definitely not tasty, at least to me. Luckily it's relatively flavorless when swallowed with a drink, which is what I do. I haven't had any bad reactions to these capsules, nor have I noticed any significant improvements that I can speak to. That being said, I wasn't expecting the ingredients in this type of supplement to convert me into a super human overnight. Each bottle has 120 capsules, and it says to start with 1 capsule 2x a day, then after a week, move to 2 capsules 2x a week. So, this bottle is a bit over a 1 month supply. I'm about 1/2 way through the bottle, and will report back at the end if there is more to say :) One thing to note, while it does list what supplements are in each capsule, it does not state how much of each ingredient these capsules have. It just says that 2 capsules have 1160mg of their "Propriety MB Blend" whatever that means...

I've taken this since near the end of April & wanted to wait & give it a full round before leaving a review. First I'd like to say that this is a great, proper blend for dealing with bugs behaving badly in our bodies. That's important to recognize since those buggers are hard to erradicate. Ya, you don't want to kill them off so fast you have a detox reaction that overwhelms you. That's not likely because of the structure of wading in & building up dosage. A good company knows that. I've had no challenges being on this product whatsoever. I've had active Lyme in the past & do what I can to keep them at bay particularly durring their more active seasons - yes they have active seasons - so they can't get out of control. That having been said I'm not a big proponent of long term, excess use, if not sure of what's present or active. I work with a Functional Medicine doctor that's aware I'm taking this companies supplement, tho they don't carry it themselves. I don't view this as an issue because there are so many well established anti micobial companies that have gotten their foot & body in the door already. One thing that I find intriguing is that the print in bold letters on back of bottle "AVAILABLE 'ONLY' THROUGH HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS" doesn't stop them from selling their products direct on Amazon! Just saying!!! Take advantage of it if you can't afford a health care professional. But beware that certain ingredients will conflict with some meds, which means it can be tricky using if you're on, let's say, blood thinners, for an example. Do your research!!! Everything else about this product is typical. Standard size capsule, smell is not bad but the oregano comes thru slightly when you open the bottle. Came sealed properly. Full count in bottle, and comes with non GMO & VEGAN stamps. The rest one can verify on their site or by calling them...both clearly listed on the bottle. And yes, the price is up there.

I love that this supplement combines oregano extract and olive leaf extract in one capsule. Even better, the nutritional information also provides the precise percentage of carvacrol and monolaurate, an indicator of a high quality product. I trust this brand's products because of their excellent reputation and the fact that their capsules are made in the USA, well researched, and third party tested. The capsules are easy to swallow and do not have any unpleasant taste or odor and the expiration date is far out (August of 2025). I am very happy with this supplement and thankfully did not experience any negative side effects. The only negative is that this supplement is expensive, but taking 1 capsule works well for me so thankfully the bottle will last 4 months.

Nice to have in a capsule version. Many of these I pulse individually for disruption of biofilms. Have to say this is easier to have everything in one (plus a few I haven't had yet) and hit them hard. Though it does seem expensive, it also seems effective so far. Going to try the full moon/new moon schedule for me for pulsing this off and on. May be worth the price if I only have to get a bottle once or twice a year so I have a break in the schedule. Will use coconut charcoal in between. Maybe an update in the future. I like that they have other formulas available to add to the attack if needed.
