This is the best lip balm I've ever used. It's not greasy. It lasts a long time and feels really good. I'm a bargain-hunter, but sometimes you just have to get the best product. Also, I reached out to the company to make sure I got their product (I was thrown-off by the new label) and they were really nice and got back to me immediately.

Ok, let me tell a story here. I am an AVID lip picker. If I get nervous, anxious, sad, depressed, scared, worried.. anything that is slightly other than complete 100% happiness, I pick lips. And it's not like, "oh so cute lip picking". NO, it's intense, my lips bleed and I still keep picking them.. my lips BEG FOR MERCY and I still pick. I remember my school teachers yelling at me, my dad's life mission was to make me stop picking my lips, and my mom slapped me a few times (I'm not from the west so it's allowed) for picking my lips. I have small sticky notes saying DO NOT PICK LIPS in my car, laptop, water bottle, at work, and in my kitchen everywhere. Nothing and no one has ever stopped me from bleeding my lips. Until one day.. one fine fine day, my roommate dropped this lip balm in my Christmas stocking. When I applied the lip balm, I kid you not, my lips died and resurrected just like Jesus. The next morning, they were smooth like my butt, it was soft and pink.. did it heal overnight? of course not, it's not magic. But 2 weeks later, I wanted to KISS everyone! that's how soft my lips felt. Oh my god, I wanted someone to kiss me, so I got myself a boyfriend. Life has been good.. no more bleeding lips, it has been 2 years. Do I still pick my lips, yes occasionally when I'm extra nervous or sad I still do, but nothing this lip balm can't fix. I have 3-4 of these around my house at any given time. And as soon as I pick my lips I slather it on and the next morning, it's good as new. Get this lip balm if you want a shot at a better life. I have been using Lip Trip for over 40 years. There is no better lip balm out there. It makes your lips feel great, but unlike most other lip balms I have used, Lip Trip is non-addictive. It just does the job when you need it and never makes your lips feel worse when you aren’t using it.

A friend of mine had a tube of this hanging around when I had a case of severe chapped lips that split open in three places (ouch!!) and within a single day, I was better. I had to apply it several times but by the next morning after marinating my kisser in this overnight it's like I never had a sore spot to start. AMAZING staying power. Most chapsticks I am used to are so waxy they just come off in my mouth, yuck, and I avoid them entirely for that reason. but this stuff really hangs on and seals up any cracked and sore lip skin. FABULOUS for sailing where you're likely to end up with sun and wind burn otherwise. I almost balked at the price for one stick except I had tried my buddy's tube and I knew it was going to be worth it. The tube (if you can manage not to lose it) will last you forever.

I love this stuff. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it doesn't have a strong taste, works great, and the packaging looks awesome.

As an avid hiker, this is the only lip balm with SPF I will ever use! Keeps my lips moisturized and from getting sunburnt without the typical nasty artificial flavors you get with other spf lipblams. It also does not melt in your pack when outside hiking all day in hot temperatures (or when left in your car!). I appreciate that it does not leave a strange taste in my mouth and keeps my lips from burning on long hikes at high elevations.

This is a decent lip balm with sun protection. My only issue is that I don’t like the strong licorice flavor / scent. I think it is anise. It bothers me enough that I won’t personally reorder.

I have been using Lip Trip for decades (true statement). Before Amazon I had to hunt for it in stores and tried several other types of lip balm. Although it’s expensive, nothing else is even in the same league.
