You sometimes wonder how these get made to such a high quality point for the money as this network port is housed in an aluminium extrusion and even includes the network status lights you get with proper network switches. Ugreen seem to consistently make good stuff. Works well. 5* no problem. Useful gadget as a lot of laptops these days don't have ethernet ports and sometimes you need to fallback onto a trusty physical connection. Weighs about 30g. Used on both linux and windows 11 OK.

I bought this adapter recently to use with my phone after having ongoing issues with broadband coverage around the house, and it’s been a simple but effective solution. I mainly use it with my phone to get a stable wired connection where Wi-Fi just isn’t reliable, and it’s made a noticeable difference straight away. Setup was straightforward. I plugged it in, connected an Ethernet cable, and it worked without needing to install anything. The connection feels solid and consistent, especially compared to the dropouts I was getting on Wi-Fi. Speeds have been good and more than enough for streaming, downloads and general use. The build quality is better than I expected. The aluminium casing feels sturdy and doesn’t get excessively warm, even after being used for long periods. It’s compact enough to carry around easily, which is useful if you move between rooms or want to take it with you. Overall, this has been a reliable fix for poor wireless coverage in my home. It does exactly what it’s meant to do without fuss, and I’m happy with how well it’s performed so far. Works great for the pc but be aware that it doesn't seem to support andriod 16. Not sure what's happened and or if it has been stripped out of the update. So dont expect it to work great with your phone. Both my pixel 9 and fold8 ultra did not like it.

Works very well, bit of a dead spot on the wifi at rear of house this was a cheap and easy way to solve the problem, speed seem good at first couple of WhatsApp video calls nice and stable.👍

What can one say about such a device. It works. Solidly. Delivering a full speed 1Gbps full duplex into my home Gigabit fibre broadband service. Also, what else might one expect from UGreen other than total plug and play success. I use it with Apple MacBook equipment, it just works, without any additional drivers.

Great quality adapter and works faultlessly. I really like it. It's really easy, plug-and-play, and works out of the box and as you can see, great direct speeds using big cat6 cable. UGREEN does it again, you know its going to work with this company. Love their products.
