I received the camera in less than 24 hours, took about 10 minutes to install and the camera works flawlessly and is an exact match to the OEM. I have a 2014 Ford F150 Platinum. I am extremely pleased. My original camera was showing image reversal and guidelines no longer were present. The new camera received today fixed all my issues. I used plastic trim tools to remove the emblem (no issues and no tabs were broken) and 2 screws removed to gain access to the plug. I used dielectric grease on the fitting and everything is back to new.

First things first, every option on this camera works with my trucks options, I was skeptical about this camera after reading a few of the reviews, so I ordered a cheaper one, horrible decision, bad picture quality, guide lines were off, and could barely see when the sun was glaring and none of the previous features I had with the original camera worked. So I made the decision to try this camera by True Built 1 automotive, it came in when I got off of work, but couldn’t wait to see how it worked, ( if it wasn’t any better I was going to return it the next day) after the 10 minute install I jumped in my 2012 F-150 Lariat put it in reverse and man was I impressed, if not as good as the factory camera, it’s better, The pictures I have are of the features working, unlike the previous cheaper one I had bought. If you are looking for a premium back up camera replacement for your F-150 I would highly suggest getting this one, I’am more than happy with the quality, and would definitely buy this camera again if the need arises. I would rate this camera a 10 out of 10 for price, quality, and ease of installation. I’ve also added pictures of the cheaper camera to compare the quality. You can see the guide lines on the cheaper one are narrower and seem to face down, compared to the T1A guide lines that are much truer to the original camera.

Daytime works perfectly. I'd say as good as OEM but a fraction of the cost. Nighttime...works ok. It's usable at night but image is, eh.

I struggled for years with a backup camera on my 2014 F-150 Lariat 6 cylinder that worked intermittently. I wouldn’t buy a replacement because of the reviews I saw and wouldn’t pay the stealership $600. After more than a little research I settled on this one. It’s been on now less than a day but holy cow. It’s as good as my original camera and worked perfectly as soon as it was installed. No reset or adjustment required. Update..... Still doing great Plug in and go!

This replaced my old camera which went out on me. From what I can tell it’s just as good if not better than the OEM part. Pretty easy part to swap out!
