Deerfly Patches/Deer Fly Repellent Patch (12 Pack)

This actually works. In my area in Northern New York, we have nuisance deer flies in the Spring and early summer. These did the trick. After a short walk there’s several deer flies caught.

These things are great. Best thing I've found for dealing with these pests. I've come back from a walk with as many as 20 deer flies stuck to them...instead of chewing a hole in me. Best to use them on an old hat as they sometimes leave a little residue.

My husband runs in the woods of Minnesota. These are a lifesaver!!! He puts them on his hat and by the end of his run, the strips are covered with biting flies. He can run without the annoying bugs bothering him. And the company went above and beyond when we had a shipment issue.

I was skeptical about these at first, but if you have a deer fly problem, give them a try because they work! I mowed for four hours one day and had over 20 deer flies on the sticky pad on my hat. And, did not suffer a deer fly bite one time! Anyone who has been bitten by a deer fly know it hurts. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Catches flies

It does trap flies and keep them from biting you. However, the strips don't stick to hats very well at all...but do stick to fingers / fingernails exceptionally well. Positioning a strip while wearing a hat has been less than a 50/50 success rate and if you don't get it right on the first try, the strip gets all gummed up on itself...so it ends up being junk. I've gone through 6 strips so far to successfully position 2. If the side that sticks to your hat was much stickier...it would be better.

Used these while hiking in Algonquin Park in Ontario Canada. These patches worked amazing well, capturing many deer flies. I did not get bitten once.
