This seems right up there in quality with Joico and Nexxus, while exceeding the quality of brands like Shimmer Lights, Jhirmack and basic drug store brands.I know I'm not a typical purple shampoo user as my hair is ashen brown, but the tips of my hair are brassy from having dyed them in the past and I use purple shampoo weekly to fix this issue, I also love the way it cools down the brown color of my hair, leaving a fresh and clean ashen tone.It has a very mild Pina Colada scent, it's genle on my extra long tailbone length hair, it arrived with no leaks or spills, it leaves hair soft, refreshed, smelling good and deposits a decent amount of tint on the hair that is noticeable after 2 washings in a row.For the money, I am unsure if this shampoo is worth it, it took me a week to finally get the pump nozzle to pop open from the closed position, I tried everything, including unscrewing the whole thing then drying it off and trying to fiddle with it. I found that I finally had to screw it on super tight, and then *forcibly* twist the pump head in alternating directions until it FINALLY popped as if by some kind of miracle. I normally don't have this issue with twist locking shampoo pumps.All in all I am still very pleased with this order and I can highly recommend this to anyone in need of a high quality purple shampoo, as long as you've got the deep pockets to pay for this pricy stuff. Most important here though, is how this shampoo will every so slightly tint your hair color.I noticed right away after a few uses. I am 1/4 grey, and this shampoo actually makes my grey hair color look darker, almost to the point where it doesn’t look grey anymore. And again, this is without harsh any chemicals used in color dyes-! I have used other shampoos for people with grey hair, and this outperforms all of them easily.This shampoo is highly concentrated, and a small dimes sized portion works very well on my shorter hair.It lathers incredibly, and smells very elegant….like you’re in a salon.The bottle is huge, and I’m confident this will last me an entire year. Remember, this is highly concentrated.I recommend this purple shampoo for persons with greying hair, that don’t like using harsh chemicals and want results.
