My wrist gets really sore when I practice my electric bass too much This brace is great because it prevents my thumb from moving in the way that irritates my wrist, but I also allows me to practice and forces me to just have good form Every other brace I’ve tried hurts, but this one is perfect I have pretty petite hands and the small size was great

The Thumb braces serve the intended purpose and allow the necessary areas to rest. However, if you have any type of arthritis or weakness in your hands, you may require assistance to properly fit them to your hand shape. They do require some adjustments. They are not a one size fits all right out of the box as you would think. Within the rubber there is a small metal bar that helps provide additional support that does require soem shaping to your hand. I boiled some water, let it cool some and placed each brace in the warmer water for a short period of time (5 to 10 seconds) then placed the brace on my hand to allow it to coold and shape to my hand. Once it cooled, my husband helped with the assistance of a wooden spoon handle to mold the metal bar. to ensure it was comfortable. I also added some mole skin where the brace touced between my thumb and index finger to stop any rubbing. If I have to type or work on a computer often, it helps with the additional pain caused from RA.

These really work to immobilize the cmc joint in the thumbs! Sizing is right on the money. My only problem is the Velcro (it rubs on the top of my thumb so I leave it a little loser! Helps decrease the pain!

this is the second brace I have purchased work perfectly for my hand giving's me the support I need. the product is well made love the black it keeps looking clean. the first one was gray and it didn't keep clean due to the kind of material it's made of.

The plastic-covered aluminum frame is really nice, as it molds to my hand. But the Velcro didn't last long at all. I hope they do something to improve this feature, as I'd like to buy another one for my left hand, but for the price, it needs to be more durable.

The brace helps support my thumb so everyday activities don’t aggravate it.

I have gone through a lot of thumb splints for arthritis, and this one is by far the best. It's not bulky and hot, and I can get it wet without hours of drying time. I use it to wash dishes and garden and it works perfectly.
