Great quality and worked perfectly on 3/4" plywood.
While I have a table saw and a circular saw, I was about to construct built ins around my fireplace and the thought of wrangling 4X8' sheets of plywood on my table job site table saw was a little daunting, so for the price I decided to pick up this and the 110" rail. I can honestly say that it made the job so incredibly easy that my only regret is that I didn't get one sooner. The cuts were perfect, even with the stock blade on 3/4" plywood. Super easy to set up and operate. A great investement and complementary to my other tools.

Love it! Cheap price but great quality!
Bought this track saw kit when I started my door making project. Got it cause it was one of the cheaper options online and since this was just a quick one time project didn't want to invest too much. Don't have any experience with the more expensive name brand ones but this thing works great! No issues at all and cuts well! Would definitely recommend it for anyone who is needing one!

Not just a great value, it’s a great tool
I got this track saw due to being on a limited budget and for the price i did not expect much. I’m extremely happy with this track saw though! It was very simple to setup and was cutting in a few minutes. The track itself has a rubber section that is pretty grippy but i purchased some clamps that work with the track to be on the safe side. I bought a Diablo blade because i figured for this price, the factory Wen blade wouldn’t be very good but I’m surprised at how clean of a cut I’m getting and haven’t bothered to change it out. Overall, this is a fantastic tool and i still surprised at how well this makes accurate, straight cuts that are super clean. If you are skeptical due to the low price, don’t be. It’s a great tool

It is great value for the money...
I haven't used any of those other expensive brands but I need a straight cut, repeatedly.. I use boards as guides, but this saw is great.. accurate cuts, that's it. I am glad I got it... Breaking down sheet goods safely... It is awesome. Would recommend it

Not a luxury brand but well worth it.
Wanted a track saw but hard for hobbiest to justify $500 or more price tags for the other brands. The plastic knobs for adjusting depth etc seem cheap, but to be expected at the price point. First time to-use and wow, cut 3/4 baltic birch no prob, nice & straight, no burning. I saw another reviewer say need to get saw up to speed first before cutting & i agree. . Also got the 110” tracks. If i was a tradesman i would get a better one but im not and seems to work great for its role breaking down sheet goods to manageable pieces for me. Inguess a cheaper saw puts the track saw concept in reach of more people

Well worth the price!
I needed something to help make an angled cut on some long boards and, since I'd been wanting a track saw, I figured this one wouldn't break the bank. Finally got to try it out today and am impressed. I can't compare it to any other track saw because this is the first one I've used, but it had plenty of power, slid on the track easily, and delivered nice, clean cuts with the stock blade. The saw I got differs from the pics. The two track adjustment knobs are now low-profile. The track lock is a slide, and there is no anti-kickback knob. I really like the soft start feature., but the blade/plunge lock button is pretty stiff. Thankfully once you get the saw running and plunged, you can let go of it. I don't know how the durability will be, but you my occasional hobbyist needs, it works great, and the price is hard to beat!

Great saw for cutting down sheet goods
I bought this track saw after seeing some youtube reviews saying it was a decent saw for the price and not wanting to spend several hundred or into the low thousands for a hobbyist woodworker. I wanted a track saw to break down larger sheet goods so I could get them onto the table saw for final dimensions and my existing circular saw simply wasn't capable of making accurate, square cuts. At the price, I did not have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how well this saw functioned and the quality of cuts it produced when making a cabinet-style frame for a closet organizer. I quickly was able to trust the accuracy and squareness of the saw for making final cuts on some of the side panels and the end-results was just as good as my cast-iron top table saw. I cut the panels on 1-1/2" foamboard, and had no tear out when cutting with or against the blade using the included stock blade. I have not tried to do any beveled cuts or use this on hardwoods. If you are like me and want an easy and accurate way to cut down large sheet goods, I would highly recommend this saw. I also recommend getting a dust collection hose that has some flexibility in sizing as my shop vac and other attachments did not quite fit the dust hose on the saw.

It's okay for a DIY person
If you are going to use this occasionally to break down sheet goods or make long cuts in wood that doesn't easily work with a table saw this should be okay for you. But if you need to use a track saw often then spend more money and get a better-quality system. - The saw sounds like there's a bearing about ready to blow out the side of it. All the knobs are plastic and seems like it's a matter of time before one of them breaks. - The track seems like decent quality, but if you need to use both parts you can't just take the two pieces of track, bolt them together and expect them to be aligned properly. You need to keep the track joiners a little bit loose so you can get the tracks to be completely straight and aligned with each other and then rig something up to keep the middle of the track stable as you're running the saw along the track. It will work for occasional use, which is what I need it for in my workshop. But as I stated above, if you're a professional woodworker or have a need for a track saw more often then spend the money to get something higher quality.

Perfect for my needs, budget friendly
I considered more expensive saws, but after checking out multiple reviews of the Wen I decided to try it. I use it occasionally and it has performed very well. I use Makita tracks and the fit is good. Dust collection with a hose is decent, and certainly much better than a standard circular saw.
