Appears to be very good cable. Heavier than most ethernet cable you get. Connections snap in nice and tight for a good connection. I like the high visibility of the blue.

This is a very robust, high quality cable. We were able it pull it through a conduit with no difficulty. We use it to link a MIDI driver and receiver, and it works perfectly.

I can join the chorus of people having issues out of the box. I installed this as an overhead run in bar, didn't work. Took the connectors apart, and it worked. Put the back together and it worked all night. The returned for a gig two weeks later (cable had been untouched) and it didn't work SO WTF! Pulled it out and ran a basic CAT 7 cable, no ethercon ends, gig was fine. Brought the offending cable home, took things apart, looks fine, put back together & it works.... I also now have serious trust issues with this one. I also bought a 50 foot one that seems fine. Go figure. QA must be very iffy with GearIt. OTOH these are a LOT cheaper than other companys that make 'digital snakes' for sound gear.

Bought this along with GearIT's XLR over CAT6 adaptors. It connects well, and feels solid. The 100' shielded cable passes XLR signals cleanly without any noise.
