Bought this item to load a 55 gallon plastic drum onto and off of a regular pickup truck bed. We have a tractor with loader and bale forks, but they are too wide to fit into the pickup bed. This item was ideal for lifting the drum. Can be used with a variety of lifting mechanisms. Item is heavier duty constructed than it appeared in the listing. Ring, chains, and hooks worked well and as expected.

Very good quality tool. I use it regularly to move full 55 gal drums on my remote property. In both horizontal and vertical orientation.

Great product work exactly how it should

Over all this thing is amazing product and for the price it’s a good deal. 55 and 85 gallon drums is a breeze to lift. I had to make a 2 foot chain to go around the fork on the fork lift.

Chain Drum Lifter This drum lift chain works well as intended, but can also be useful for a wider array of projects. The lifting pliers are well designed and are a great aid in locking them onto a wide variety of objects. A tool more versatile than you may at first think! 4 stars! Works Great - don't let the size fool you - lifted 500lb 55 gallon drums

This is ideal for lifting our plastic DEF drums and putting them on the rack.

Been using the Chain Drum Lifter for a few weeks, lifting and transporting drums, and it's been working well. I'm using it on drums with the tops cut out, but the lip still intact (burning barrel, trash barrel etc). I haven't lifted any drums over 300lbs. but see no reason why it wouldn't lift heavies drums with ease.
