Bought these for my teenager who has officially entered her “I can do my own nails” era. So full disclosure: this review comes from the household of an amateur manicurist with big dreams and limited experience. For a budget-friendly purchase, these files have seriously impressed us. They’re great for shaping and super versatile with the two grit options. Whether she’s attempting almond, square, or the ever-dramatic coffin shape, they’ve handled it like pros. And durability? Surprisingly solid. For the amount of “practice” (read: repeated filing of the same nail trying to get it even), I’m impressed they haven’t tapped out. They’ve filed and filed and filed before finally going bald. Respect. The buffers are great for those finishing touches too — smoothing everything out so the final look feels salon-adjacent instead of “learned this on TikTok five minutes ago.” Now if these files could just magically shape themselves into perfect coffin tips without all the effort, they’d be flawless. Until then, 10/10 for surviving the teenage nail academy.
