SOULWIT Headband Cover for Bose QuietComfort 15(QC15)/QuietComfort 2(QC 2) Headphones, Replacement Headstrap Pad Repair Part - Black

I was very surprised at how good the quality and ease of installation was with the Soulwit headband cover replacement for my Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones. Disappointingly, the original headphone band cushion on my Bose rotted out only a couple of years out of warranty from minimal usage (oxidation?) and was now a sticky rubbery mess (anytime you touched the rotted portion, you got this black goo residue on your fingers/hair), so I had stopped using them. At the time, Bose did not sell any replacement parts, so these went in a box in the closet for many years. But, I was taking getting ready for my first plane trip in years and wanted to have some defense against the loud drone of the airplane and typical screaming babies on my 6 hour flight, so I looked into what options there were for fixing up my old Bose, or if I needed to buy new headphones altogether. This headband replacement popped up an installation video I found on YT, and although I was a little skeptical, I bought them. Installation was incredibly easy, they even include a handy screwdriver with a rotating top for you to easily remove and reinstall the clips that hold the OEM headband in place. The instructions were easy to follow and the install only took about 10 minutes; you do have to cut the old headband off, which feels weird. The new headband is 2 pieces which snap together over the inner metal band of the headphones. I was amazed at how good the fit was and the cushion quality is as at least as good as the OEM headband. I highly recommend these quality replacements to get that OEM look and feel back for your Bose QC2/15 headphones for an extremely reasonable price! Easy peasy!

After years of use, the headband on the Bose headphones started to deteriorate. Flakes of black vinyl all over everything. I put them away and then one day thought, "There has to be a solution!" These are that solution. I can't vouch for the longevity as I've just installed them, but they fit well, and snap together firmly. Getting the old headband pad off takes a scissors, so be careful of the cord that runs through the headband itself. This cover snaps apart, then snaps together over the headband. The only fiddly bit is to get the endcaps situated so they secure the pad well...there is a notch for the screws to reinstall the endcaps, and once you sort that out they go in easily with the included screwdriver. The screwdrive is even magnetized to make it easier to drop the screws right in and drive them home. All in all a good replacement. I couldn't find them on the Bose site, but Bose is generally expensive for parts.

The bottom of the headband on my Bose QC-2 had worn badly and began flaking pieces of the black coating. I purchased this as a replacement and I’m very glad I did. It looks really good and the removal and assembly was very easy. I read that the provided screwdriver wasn’t very good but mine was great so they must have upgraded it. It’s way bigger than the plastic cutout area on the tray so it must be new(er).It took less than 5 minutes to get the old one cut off and to get this one put on. I like that it snaps on. So many of the others have a zipper that looks terrible. This one looks almost exactly like the original and the fit is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a easy to use, good looking headband replacement.

Quick installation and excellent value for the price. Would highly recommend. I love my Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones and didn't want to get rid of them. Instead I opted to replace the headband when it suddenly wore out. It took me only 12 minutes to remove the old one and replace with the new one. The included screw driver made the process easy. Instructions were clear enough to follow. The new band is soft and as comfortable as the original. It is easier to wipe down, in fact.

This brought my Bose QC2 back to life! The old headband was disintegrating and could not be used. I’m impressed by the fit, the ease of installation, the quality of the material (plus the screwdriver) and how quickly it arrived. I’m including a photo of the new headband installed and the old one in the back. I feel like I have a new pair of headphones again! Highly recommend this product.

The headband was very easy to install and has enabled me to keep my 15+ year old headphones look as good as new. The quality is not as high as the original Bose headband but it’s more than acceptable given I get to still use these headphones so no real complaints. I just hope it lasts a few years at least. The comfort is good and the size is exactly like the original. Highly recommend purchasing the Bluetooth adaptor for the Bose QC15 to keep the headphones updated with the times.

I have over 40 years electronic technical experience working with my hands. The one star reviews are absolutely correct. The head band was not designed, or poorly designed for the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 head set. It is too long and will not allow the side clips to be put back on with out trimming the material to make them fit. If you do trim the material and it still is not able to be used, you damaged the head band and can no longer return it. You don't want to do that. I worked over three hours and then tried again the next day. For the price paid for this head band, which was twice the price of most of the others offered, it should have been a 10 minute operation at most. Pros: nice material. I studied at the headset with the new headband, without the side clips for a long time. If I didn't know that there were side clips, I would have never missed them. The headset looks good with this headband, even without the side clips. I'll keep it this time. My only option is to keep trying other head bands until I find one that does fit. After over three hours, I"m done. Recommendation: don't buy this for the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 head set. Update: Well now. Anyone out there have any toast to go with the egg on my face? As with another one star review that had the same problems that I did, I learned that I had the wrong end band caps. My end caps came with previous replacement head band. Not the originals. Who keeps the old (original) end caps after you complete the replacement project. I purchased replacement end caps from the same company. A bit pricey for four little pieces of plastic, but I could have saved the extra cost if I keep the ORIGINAL parts. A 10 minute project. Who knew. My bad. Thanks Soulwit. Impressed! Works great on my Bose QC15 Headphones. Very good quality. Looks great. Compatible. Easy to install, but must have a fair amount of manual dexterity. Highly recommended!

A bit anxious before proceeding with the replacement operation as it is a one way decision, the old headband should be cut. The instructions are very clear. It took less than 8 minutes to make the replacement. This replacement Headband Pad Kit fitted perfectly to my old Bose QC15. Very happy with this renovation. Thanks.

Les dimensions ne sont pas tout à fait adaptées au QuietComfort 15. J'ai du bricoler un peu (rogner/couper à certains endroits) de manière à pouvoir l'insérer correctement dans les fermoirs latéraux (et qui ne sont pas complètement fermés d'ailleurs). Après ce bricolage qui m'a pris une bonne vingtaine de minutes, je suis arrivé à un résultat relativement propre. L'ensemble semble de bonne qualité malgré tout.

Di buona qualità. Facile la sostituzione, basta un po’ di pazienza.
