We had previously used some thick string with pieces if a garden hose for around the skinny tree. This lasted a while, but the string broke during heavy winds. This product was pretty easy to use and looks like it is providing much better stability even through gusty, strong winds. I am pleased with the result.

These stretch like a rubber band and are not heavy-duty. Best for smaller items.

Not particularly sturdy especially for larger trees. it tends to break easily. Probably best for smaller starter trees or shrubs. If you have a larger tree to stake best to go with a more sturdy product that does not stretch and break.

I was very hesitant to purchase this because I figured the plastic would stretch over time, or that it would become brittle in the sunlight..... I have had no issue with either.... great product!!

I bought this to tie/brace and stake newly planted small ornamental trees. I have used a product like this before. This product stretches. It doesn't perform to hold the trees in place.
