After owning this for a little over 3 months, I just learned that the brightness can be adjusted in addition to the 3 different light modes. Tap once to change the light mode (color temperature) or tap and hold to increase brightness. To decrease just tap and hold again, holding too long will turn the light back off. I don’t recommend reading in the dark, but if you do this is a great light for it! It gets pretty bright and could be used as a night light or an emergency light during an outage. Naturally it doesn’t last as long the brighter it is, but the battery life will surprise you as well. I love this little light so much, that I’m going to purchase it in another color for myself and a few for friends.

Initially, I was looking for a clamping table lamp to use with my diamond puzzles; I ordered one (that was very similar to this one), but it got dangerously hot very quickly and I needed to return it. Back to the search results I went, and I thought this was the same, so I quickly ordered it for delivery ASAP. Imagine my surprise when I received it and it was actually a legit book-light. Not what I wanted. While it isn't what I was *trying* to order (I'll admit, I did not read the description and I ordered it hastily in the middle of the night while half awake), I absolutely love it. It is quite possibly the cutest mini-lamp ever. Not only is it adorable, it has three "warmth" settings and adjustable brightness levels; it is also rechargeable (no batteries or plug) and seems to last forever (I've been using it for a couple of weeks now on a single charge to read my book). While not what I intended to get, it was definitely a happy accident and I'm not mad about it at all.

I got this so I could read a book at night before going to bed to try and wind down before sleep. The clip is super sturdy without having too much tension in the spring. I think it may be great even for thicker cardstock paperback type novels, as long as you have a thick enough chunk of pages or registers to clip it on. It has warm and cool light settings AND it actually has impressively smooth dimming between intensities. A plus that I didn't think was something I would care about is that the base is heavy enough to allow the light to just rest in like a desktop or night table. I keep it on the top of my headboard resting on the base in case I need a light in the middle of the night. It's way less harsh than a mobile phone flashlight if you dim it, and the dimness stays at the level you leave it on even after you turn it off. It is also rechargeable so less waste! This is a great little extra gift for someone who's into reading, journaling, or sketching before bed, would definitely buy again.

Light is as described, charges with a cord that is provided. Small in size for storing and the light is very flexible. There are 3 different light colors, white, yellow, and blue which is also very nice for brightness. Turns on and off by touch. All in all a great buy, in my opinion.

This reading light is amazing! Love this thing. Can’t recommend it enough. I love that you can charge it and it’s ready to go again. Light weight enough that it doesn’t mess with the book I’m reading.
