Review: Useful brush set for narrow cleaning tasks - Picked up this 12-piece brush set for cleaning reusable straws and some small tubes I use in my shop. Works well for what I needed. The different diameter brushes cover most standard straw sizes. I mainly use them to clean metal straws and also some narrow nylon tubing that I run coolant through on certain projects. The nylon bristles are stiff enough to scrub but haven't scratched anything yet. Handles are decent length which makes it easier to reach through longer items. They rinse clean pretty easily after use. The wire core feels sturdy, hasn't bent or kinked on me. Having 12 pieces means I can dedicate some to workshop use and keep others for kitchen duty. The thinnest brushes work great for really tight diameter applications. Storage is simple - I just keep them in the package they came in. Much better than trying to clean tubes with rags or pipe cleaners. Good value for a set this size. They do the job without any fuss.

A: I have washed mine in just the sink with hot water and dishwashing soap.  I think I would be a little hesitant to place them in a dishwasher.

Great for washing long straws and the tubing to my nugget ice machine. I cannot live without my nugget ice. I have really long straws and the length of the straw cleaner gets end to end. Clean straws. It bends easy where my straw bends. You have a variety of brushes to accommodate any size tubing. The price is wonderful. They last a long time. I’m still on my first set and they clean just as good as when I first bought it.
