So I figured I'd try these new "performance" gloves as well.The "performance" gloves are just as warm, and nicer looking. While the "practice" gloves are slightly wooly inside & out, the "performance" gloves are smooth outside and wooly inside. Plus the edges of the "performance" gloves are finished.The "performance" gloves are somewhat different sized. For the "practice" gloves, I'm just on the border between small and medium. Small fits better, but the thumb hole is too small so I often clip it slightly on my right (dominant) hand. I bought medium on the "performance" gloves. The thumb holes are just the right size. The arms are snug--any narrower would be too small. But the hole for the fingers is too big; the gloves are loose across the palm. This is a little annoying--although not annoying enough to return them.I think that the manufacturer is still fiddling to get the design right. If your hand measures across the palm a 7 go with the small. I had to do a size exchange.
