I just wanted to know if I should put 3 or 4 droppers in 27 inches by 16 a 40 gallon pot？

Solar Pump dispenses approximately 8oz or 400ml per minute. A 5- minute cycle will dispense about 40oz or 2 liters of water divided among the plant Drip-Stakes. For 10 Drip-Stakes, if you choose a 5-minutes cycle per 24hours, each Drip-Stakes will get 4oz or 200ml. For example, you choose 24HOUR-5 minutes for your plants, 6 plants with 6 droppers, and the big size pot with 4 droppers. Then, that big size pot can get 800ml /16oz water a day.

How long can this solar powered automatic drip irrigation kit works after full charged?

It's solar powered, and has the most power on the days water is needed most. It still functions after a few overcast days. 15-20 days duration after full charged. You can Just prepare a big container of water, select the watering frequency with the number of drippers. Then go for a happy long vacation.

When your water source is positioned higher than your plants and you pump water down to them, you may encounter siphoning issues. After turning off the kit, the water continues to flow out, indicating a siphoning effect. To address this, you can follow these steps:

Install tubing into the water inlet of the pump (used for drawing water) and the water outlet (for watering your plants).

Attach an anti-siphoning device to the water outlet. This device prevents water from flowing back and maintains proper water flow. It allows air to enter the tubing, breaking the siphoning effect.

Connect the tubing to the water outlet with the anti-siphoning device securely in place.

Position the other end of the tubing near your plants for effective watering.

By incorporating tubing into the water inlet and outlet and adding an anti-siphoning device to the water outlet, the siphoning effect can be eliminated. Air will enter the tubing from the device, ensuring that siphoning does not occur when you turn off your kit.
