Reliable, not like others that stop working. It’s heavy duty for metal

Built to last
Very well built tool for metal punch. Packs a punch for a small hole starter punch. Highly recommend to everyone working with angle bar, flat bar, with up to medium steel width. I haven't tried with thick metal yet.

Good While it Lasted
This is a good, strong punch that leaves deep indentions. However, both tips that came with it have already broken. I use the punch on aluminum, copper, or thin mild steel so nothing should be hard enough to damage the punch. The spring tension is even set to medium. There seems to be a design flaw in the tip. It looks similar to a nail with a tall head. Where the head and body of the tip meet is where they break. I believe there is a stress riser there due to the angle. I hope they fix the design and I hope I can find more tips. It never failed to punch until the tips broke. UPDATE: I managed to find replacement tips and the punch was going strong until a few weeks ago. The intermediate pin which is basically the trigger of the punch broke. I have tried contacting the seller with no luck. Also tried to find a replacement with no luck. In all fairness the punch was used frequently so I got my money's worth from it. Just wish there was replacement parts available.
