This works very well for my Z fold 4. It holds it in place nicely with minimal movement. No instruction were included, yet it was fairly easy to figure out how to get the extenders out in order to fit the phone while in the open position/large screen view. This is the only mount that has worked for my phone. Magnetic and suction cups have failed, and so far this one is going strong.

It did not work for my z fold 5 but it worked for my father's IPhone. The item itself is very well made. It looks nice in my father's gar and the part that attaches it to the vent is very sturdy. Once installed, it's not going anywhere unless you remove it.

I looked long and hard for something that can hold my Z Fold 4. I found the suction/3M sticky style is just not strong enough to hold the weight. This is fine for what it is designed for. Pro: It is pretty stable. I have not tested any off road or pot holes, but normal city driving is fine. I like the the two top adjustable arms on this one. With some experimentation, I can set them at one specific combination of angles to hold my Z Fold 4, closed or unfolded, without adjusting each time. I can make them so that the charge port is not obstructed in both configurations. The right arm also does not obstruct the volume rockers. Con: With my slim case on, and the phone folded, it only fits under three of the four arms (it's too thick for the left upper). The phone is still stable though. I wish there is wireless charging. The vent clamp does not work with my car. But the ball clamp style is so universal, I found another vent clamp that did fit my car vent, and put this mount on it.

These work better than the mirror mount. My phones have been secure with minimal vibration. Even my z fold (which is thick) has been secure

Twist to tighten a little red hook to the vent. Arm is too think for Buick Avenir air vents. Fits fine for a Chevy Traverse. Fits Samsing fold 4 for the most part, better than standard holders. The left top is not as good if you have a phone case. Needs to be wider to accommodate phone cases. Don't like that it cannot be stabilized in one direction, it can just flip from one direction to another. Provides access to buttons on right side of phone. Can charge phone whole in holder. Other than that it does the job as intended.

I was so looking forward to it! However once arrived, my worst fear was confirmed! I am not sure how the inventor had limited thinking when it came to the ball joint which is a complete joke! not even 30 seconds of placing my phone on the holder the ball joint became loose and the whole thing was tilted forward, not to mention, the heat anyway would do it!! Sorry but I wouldn't keep this holder in my collection for free! when I look it it makes pretty upset that they insulted the intelligence of the customers!!

This is the best carmount I have ever bought!

My z fold 5 fits however the vent clip does NOT fit a 2013 Nissan Rogue's round and deep vents so unless they send me a different style clip, I'll be returning this.
