Sika Primer-290 DC is a colorless to yellowish primer for wood. It is made on the basis of solvent that reacts with moisture and thereby forms a thin film. The primer is mainly used in woods such as teak, mahogany, oregon pine and polyester-based GRPs. It serves as a preparation for compacting or gluing deck seams using Sikaflex-290 DC or Sikaflex-298 FC. The special formula of the Sika Primer-290 DC ensures better adhesion and therefore a more qualitative end result.
