Well this was my first purchase of matcha and I decided to buy the full set including accessories to make sure I will get the best of this tea. I tried it once and for now not impressed. But I am sure it will take a while to find the perfect balance of tea powder/water/milk. The kit itself is of a good quality, well packaged and looks nice so I would recommend it. As for the tea powder I cannot tell for sure - the color has a presently nice green color but did not taste sweet as I heard it should be. Will try again.

I ordered this kit because it had a $10 coupon which made this only $5 more than the pure zen matcha and included the utensils needed to make the tea. The strainer works fantastic for getting the tea in smooth powdered form and the spoon for measuring is the right size. The tea itself is a rich dark green, smooth texture and no bitterness. It has a strong green tea flavor which I love!

I was looking for Good Green Tea powder for long time. Very hard to find good quality one in US. I ordered Pure Zen and Culinary this time. Pure Zen is very tasty and I like to drink with Japanese crackers or fruit ... I am drinking every night after dinner now. I can’t wait to use Culinary for cookies or Ice cream!!!

I drink green tea regularly but, this was my first time purchasing a ceremonial grade matcha. The set is nicely prepared, has a premium feel to it, and includes everything you need to make a nice cup of tea. The taste is smooth and superior to everything I’ve tried in the past!

I thought it was gonna have a bad taste. But it was actually pretty good. Will buy this brand again.
