Easy build
This Book Nook kit is really fun to make and I enjoyed assembling it. This being said, there was no glue included and I did end up using nail glue. The instructions were a bit confusing when it got to the lights assembly, so just make sure to read it carefully when cutting wires. Overall, the actual book nook itself is stable and is pretty easy to build. (the tweezers come in handy!)

Great build...12yo approved!
I gave this to my daughter as she is really getting into Book Nooks she is only 12 and this is a little advanced for her but she did an amazing job putting it together. She asked for more. All pieces were accounted for.

Not great materials..
I build a lot of miniature house kits - first time ever trying this brand - I will probably not try this brand again due to missing parts, cheapness of materials, and difficulty of assembly. I'm fairly moderate/advanced with model building, so if you are a beginner, please find a different kit because this one will test your patience. Placing the wires/lighting was a pain and I ended up using Scotch tape to hold different areas in place. The battery just slides into a hole beneath the structure, so if you want it turned on then you'd have to flip the kit upside down to access the switch. The paper to build mini books/furniture was cheap and would crack wherever it was creased. The side wall came in three parts per side and had to be put together before they could be used - note: there were no notches to help with the ease of gluing the structure together. Overall, the kit turned out really cute once I was finished; however, it was definitely a process to get there. For the low price it was when I purchased it, the low quality makes sense.

Absolutely Amazing!
This was my 1st miniature house build. And it was so fun! The directions are just enough information to get the gist of it. Some areas of the directions are just a process of elimination and common sense. It was not difficult at all. But it was time consuming. This is a great hobbie so relaxing, just pop on a podcast or audio book and create away. Before I knew it 2-3 hours has passed. I think is a little less intricate than some of the other miniature houses, but it is really awesome. I think it's great for beginners as well. Definitely worth the cost too!

Beautiful.
Awesome kit. Although you need glue, everything else in here. It is coming along swimmingly.

Very cute! Extremely satisfying first time build
Make this as my first foray into miniatures! There's not many other miniatures with this skinny two story design, which is a shame cause its really more interesting and dynamic than the little "room scene" ones. Make sure to sand first like it says in the handbook, otherwise there will be wood bits that stick out oddly. Also score the wood parts where they're attached otherwise they'll splinter oddly and the stained wood will chip. Also make sure to carefully read and observe the instructions for making the 1st floors floor. I messed up with the elevations but it worked out well. The 2nd floor lamp was a bit weird to figure out but overall it was a good experience! You'll also have lots of bits leftover, I ended up making extra details with the extra wood and greenery.

Fun activity
Very detailed instructions and the quality of materials was good. You definitely need patience and a steady hand since the pieces are so small, but that’s part of the intrigue of the project. Most pieces are made of wood and photo paper (not stickers, you have to cut out the paper & glue it together), but there’s also lots of beads and other little metal pieces that help complete the overall look of the final product. There’s definitely lots of room for creative freedom too. Would recommend getting a quick drying glue (like superglue) for the structural pieces but a simple craft glue also worked if you have enough patience and tools to hold things together while it dries. Took two adults about a month of occasional working on it to complete - would imagine it would take about a day or two of dedicated attention

Loved building this miniature!
I got all the parts that were required to build this structure. Any improvisations I made were quite insignificant. Glue is not included. Good quality glue plus hot glue gun for some parts are needed. It's a lovely addition to my miniature collection. The only word of caution is when assembling the side brick walls. Do not follow the instructions but instead secure the bottom portions to the main unit and then attach the middle portion using hot glue. The instructions ask you to assemble the whole 3pc brick wall first and then try to fit it into the main structure. It is not sturdy enough to withstand the pressure of pushing it through the grooves and will fall apart.

Need to purchase glue
I didn’t realize it didn’t come with glue. I found that part a little challenging as i used a wood glue. End up being really cute but took me a long time to complete!

Fun build
It was fun to build, not too hard. I took my time and enjoyed the process. The only additionnal thing I would have liked is the dust cover material: there are none. Dimensions are included at the end of the booklet, so at least I can make some without having to guess the correct size to cut. It was my second book nook, and I enjoyed making it. :)
