Review: Easy to use, and works very well! - We love using this to burn designs onto wood! By using a Cricut template or a stencil of some sort, you apply the paste very thinly, and blow on it with a heat gun until it’s the darkness you desire! The tub is very tiny. You will probably be surprised when you open the package. It lasts a long time, though, as you only need a very thin layer. Scrape as much as you can off, and put it back in the tub for future use. One thing I will caution… If you are putting a poly over the top of your burned wood, you need to wipe off as much of the leftover paste as you can after you have burned your design and it has cooled. Otherwise it shows up as a milky white/yellow color during the poly process. Once the poly has dried completely, it usually dries clear, but don’t mess with it when it’s partially dry, or it may remove a part of your burned design. It’s fun, and easy to use, but there is a learning process. My 12 year old son used it for decorative cutting boards and coasters he sold in his Kids’ Business Fair booth, and he sold nearly everything with a burned design on it! Attached is a picture of the booth as we were setting it up, along with some pictures of items he sold in the process of being prepared and burned. He did not do all of the applying/burning, but he was very involved.

**Q: Wood burning paste for darker results, need thicker paste and professional heat gun tools?**
A: Only a uniform or thin layer of paste is sufficient. More heat can achieve a darker effect, which is a corollary. The heat gun has a power of 1000 watts and the temperature is above 400C/700F, you need to keep the moving heating. If you need precise burning, I recommend that you replace the nozzle with a smaller diameter heat gun

**Q: How many Scorch Pastes are 3 OZ? Can I support multiple wood burning projects?**
A: The Scorch Paste bottle is marked as 3 OZ/Jar and the actual weight is over 3.3 OZ/Jar, which I think is well worth it for the current price. It's likened to a mini jar the size of a computer mouse, but with just a little paste to complete the project well. It can use a lot of items, 10 inch x 10 inch project more than 30 should be fine！

**Q: How much heat does wood burning paste need to be burned?**
A: (More Heat = Darker Burn) Recommended 1000+ watt heat gun, set heat gun to 500°C/950°F+, keep heat moving at close range；Scorch Paste is Formula Upgrade, Shorter Burning Time (Compared to wood burning paste on the market, 40% faster paste reaction time at the same temperature.)

**Q: Whether the wood burning stencils is to choose to use Vinyl stencil or Regular Plastic stencil？**
A: As long as you use it correctly, both ways are fine. I recommend vinyl stencil, effectively prevent leakage under the template and easy to use. Regular plastic stencil needs to be tightly attached to the wooden to play well.
