ASMARK Battery Replacement for MacBook Pro A1708, 2016-2017,13-Inch

The video tutorial is very easy to follow and super helpful. Great value for money considering that Apple would have charged me £250. All you need is patience and to follow the instructions accordingly. The kit has everything you need but the alcohol that you need to purchase separately.

Received the battery and tool kit promptly. The package was professional and in good order. I had watched a YouTube install video prior to purchasing. However, Asmark’s provided a QR code to their video installation which was even better. I was most apprehensive about removing the old battery and, to be sure, that was the trickiest part. However the credit card sized tool with sharp edges and some rubbing alcohol as suggested in their video made it fairly easy to remove in 5-10 minutes. Battery has been installed for a few days and gone through a few power cycles. Anecdotally i would say it’s slightly better than the original in capacity right now but time will tell. The battery came with 50% charge. Overall very happy with the product.

I usually don't leave reviews for products but this one deserves one just to help others to avoid ever buying it. Since the very first cycle, after initiating the battery, at 50% dropped to 9%. After a few cycles, it was the same or even worse, my laptop just turned off after going under 50% till at the last cycle, and not long after a month of use, it didn't even charge anymore. at some point, the laptop didn't even turn on. After an hour of struggle to turn back on my device, the battery wasn't even recognised by macOS. So I had to take out this battery and returned it. It is the worst experience ever with a product bought on Amazon. DON'T BUY IT! It's garbage! and they are selling it for £61, what a joke! Edited! Eventually, Amazon refunded my money which is much appreciated!

I like Apple products but it’s £200 to replace the battery on my MacBook so I thought I’d have a go. For less than 1/3 of the cost very easy to fit instructions were very good had it replaced in half an hour and charging time is the same and so is battery life I thought as it was cheaper it wouldn’t give me as long in use but I’m very surprised

Purchased a batter for my laptop. Very clear and easy instructions - unfortunately the battery was not working when installed. Contacted the company who were very helpful and did all they could to check what I had done and to help. Quite quickly they offered to sent a replacement battery which arrived very fast and installed fine - all working now. I would recommend the company and the product.

mac pro 2016 / A1708 battery asmark . not the cheapest but I wanted a quality product especially as I was apprehensive of removing the old battery which apple glue in. So I went to the chemist and bought a little bottle of acetone ( smells like a Nail Bar ! ) which works very well and was not the problem I expected. top tip , be sure the data and track pad connectors are perfectly aligned/inserted (and I stroked mine after to be sure) , I checked mine wearing two pairs of glasses to be sure. my Mac battery was 8 years old and lasting about 2 hours and having replaced my white MacBook battery and iPhone 6, battery thought I could do my beloved Mac/pro , this new asmark battery did 5 &1/2 hours on YouTube 90% brightness WOW. I am so pleased. the package has all that I needed except acetone and a so 'apple' presentation. after 6 months I had a query ....their customer service was brilliant, really. can't remember what I paid, maybe £59- ish but you know they say you remember the quality not the price, great value. and so stoked I fitted it myself.

Excellent Battery My Mac Book has been switched on 5days and the battery is only half discharged! I am delighted with this purchase!

Battery kit is good and provides everything you need to install plus a decent guide on how to do this. The battery fits and powers up fine with no major issues or glitches. However the battery life is about half of the original battery which is quite disappointing.

I was a bit hesitant about replacing battery of my MacBook 2017 13 inches, however since it’s pretty old model I decided to order this kit. Surprisingly I was able to do everything myself, it took around 2 hours since I tried to be extra careful. Instructions were pretty detailed, however you can just follow steps described in the video at the product page. It’s been more than 2 months and battery works fine. Battery health is 100% now and it is not getting hot at all 👍

The kit worked great for me by being patient and follow instructions and be delicate. Great YouTube instructional video helped. The removal of the center battery was hardest moment as the touch pad and keyboard connections are at risk of damage and I tried to be careful here, but I blame Apple design here. Good to know before buying is make sure to have some cleaning alcohol for cleaning up adhesives after removing old battery pack.

Ersatz Akku für mein Mac Book Pro funktioniert tadellos. Einbau nach bei liegender Anleitung und mitgeliefertem Werkzeug problemlos. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
