One cup had a little white line where the paint didn't get through but it's alright because I wasn't expecting perfection. It's a cute set and I got it for my kids.overall I'm pleased with the product.I will update on how well it has held up with daily use.A 5 months update on the set I bought, well, the egg holders have survived and some of the plates. They chipped quite easily and all it took was a drop or getting banged against another dish. All the cups chipped, the salad plates weren't used so I have all four. All the bowls are gone. So in conclusion for everyday use you have to be extremely careful because they chip easily and are a bit on the heavy side so not ideal in kids hands.
