Who Was Charles Darwin? : Hopkinson, Deborah: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Perfect for a school project - This was a very useful introduction to Charles Darwin that my daughter who was 6 at the time found very helpful in putting together a school project on "a famous Victorian". She loves this kind of stuff and it was at a good level for her, although she is an excellent reader and very enthusiastic about history. Review: Great books - My kids love these books.

Good for children's history project
Very informative and easy to read. My son is 11 and there was enough information for him to use this as one of his sources for a history essay, but could easily be read by a 8 year old and understood.

Wonderful First Introduction
Bought as a stocking- filler for our twelve year old grandson, this book interested him so much that he has now gone on to research Charles Darwin by himself. Great illustrations & a wonderful first introduction to a great man.

El libro ha llegado en perfecto estado y antes de tiempo. Me encanta esta colección. Es genial para mi hijo de 12 años, tiene textos asequibles para aprender inglés, ampliar vocabulario e investigar a Darwin y la teoría de la evolución.

When I stayed at Darwin (Northern Territory, Australia) I didn't noticed where this city name came from. But my close Russian scientist informed me this city name came after Charles Darwin, who suggested the theory of the origin of species. I agreed part of this because he investigate the practical progress of birds and other sea fished and others. I was impressed his concentrated strong pursuit of his effort during his life time. I began to respect him as a desirable all his effort to find our truth of human society. So, I recommended this book to many people and talked his effort whenever I have a chance to have conversation around me. I think that this is a guide guide for the younger generations under the science and social educations.

I love all the HQ books and so does my 8 year old daughter. Kids like to know things and many school systems are not teaching facts and history in the way they should. All the basics are in the books along with a lot of interesting additions done in a way that is not boring at all and I learn things too.
