The thickness is as I expected, and it's very good quality. I just wish there was a way to peel off the paper backing so I can carve it, but it works well for many other things.

I was looking all over for a foam of roughly this thickness without paper backing, for surface modeling on miniatures. This is exactly what I was looking for, and probably overlooked it a dozen times before finally reading the reviews and seeing that one that said it has no paper backing. While some people may see that as a drawback, to me that's an enormous selling point. This is great stuff, and will now be one of my go-to craft supplies.

Quality is great. Its sturdy and the exact thickness i needed. Kinda pricey for what it is but it did get the job done.

Smaller than I expected, but did the job well! If you puncture a hole (for a zip tie) it will break easily. If you try to push a metal rod or a dowel up so it's a standing sign, you'll end up breaking and puncturing the board. Took well to Sharpies, and fine if you're taping it on something solid.

I'm a Party Planner and ordered these foam boards to make Star Trek themed props for our photo booth. I glued Star Trek characters and sayings onto the foam board, cut it down, and glued a stick on the back and they worked perfect. They're also very sturdy so I could save them in case I have another Star Trek themed party.

Easy to use for crafting. Good quality material.

I am a quilter and love these for helping lay out my blocks. I can stack the boards with my blocks on them to my sewing area as well add some felt and carry my projects back and forth to class. They are rigid but light and it keeps me so organized. Great quality and value. It was money well spent.

Not foam core, styrofoam. Flimsy, easy to break styrofoam. Like the stuff you sometimes get coffee in at fast food places.
