You do have to assemble it yourself but it's very easy to do, make sure all the parts are firmly in the tubing and it should work as intended. I found it slighly small when I put it on but nothing uncomfortable. Seems to be good quality and quite light weight. I can hear my heart clearly with it so I'm really happy with my purchase. Good value for money.

I brought this to use with my Rats to check their chests are clear and this is a great little product, It's easy to put together, light weight and it really honestly works, You cannot go wrong, The only negative thing is that the ear pieces could be a bit more comfy but for the time you use it, It is just great, Would recommend to anyone.

This is the only stethoscope I have tried so my comments are made from ignorance. It's construction is pretty basic..... as can only be expected at the price, but it works. I have no idea how much better an expensive one would work but this cheap one does not work as well as I expected. It picks up tummy girgles amusingly well and can detect a pulse well enough but it is difficult to hear my heart and my breathing. I CAN hear my heart but only just and I can't imagine that a diagnosis could be based on the small amount I can hear. Maybe I am expecting too much?

Bought with the Lab Coat for world book day it was a bit flimsy and didn't last long

I was very surprised at the quality of this item for the price paid. I bought it as a toy accessory for my son’s dressing up outfit but it’s actually very good. The sound quality is excellent and the parts seem very robust. The only negative thing I could find about it was that the lead of 52cm is a little short. As an adult you have to be quite close to listen to someone’s heartbeat. But, as I bought it for a child, this wasn’t an issue. Overall, I very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again!

Good value for money so cheap and really clear. I was shocked. I have horses and a dog and I wanted one for just incase I may ever need it. Good bit of kit to have around

I was looking forward to this medical gadget as to check my own heartbeat and other body organ sounds as I have some health issues but was hugely disappointed it doesn't work in the slightest. Couldn't hear nothing whatsoever when pressed against my upper body area. It's more like a toy for kids to play with. But it says on box, it's a professional stethoscope. Far from it. Don't waste your time and money on this prop. I'm surprised this toy has over 4 star reviews. Strange!

I was so surprised that this actually worked. It was so cheap and only bought it for a hero’s day at school for the kids. It is very loud and def shouldn’t be used as a toy with a child screaming down it whilst the ear pieces are in!
