It looks like it was light gray with white trim at one point but is off yellow now. It looks and smells disgusting. The package was open upon receipt so I think I got a defective item.Update: I contacted the company and they are sending me a new item because we both agree that I must have gotten a bad egg so I bumped my review up to 4 stars because of the great customer service. I will update based on the true quality of the product once I receive it. Here's to hoping!August, 2017 update: the company sent me a new batch of bins and unfortunately there was no difference. They smelled strongly of chemicals and had yellowed trim. I was pregnant at the time so it's possible that I just had ridiculously high expectations and a sensitive nose. I am using the bins now regardless and they work for what I wanted them for, just wish I had spent a few more dollars for a classier looking bin. The fabric is so thin they look really cheap. The seams around the label holders are very crooked.
