My favorite trail camera
I’ve tried a lot of different trail cameras but this one is my favorite. I’ve got seven of them! They produce very sharp day time and night time videos. They also only need six batteries instead of eight. They are just about as good as Browning’s top of the line cameras but at a lower cost. They are “low glow” cameras so they occasionally will spook the wild life at night but I’ll take that risk because I don’t want blurry videos!

Great camera!
Really good camera. It was easy to set up and quality is great with daytime photos being very clear. You do have to get used to getting the sd card in and out but overall a solid buy.

Good camera..... but
Vid and picture quality is good. The battery life is not, the older models were much better for battery life

Much Better Than Previous Version
I have an older version of Strike Force. The new one has a display screen that is much brighter, making it easy to set date, delete files etc. in bright sunlight. Battery life seems to be better, but I have not done a side-by-side comparison. The battery saving function is great - you can program it to record between preset hours. I have it set to operate between 9pm and 6am. Only one nitpick - getting the SD card out is a little difficult for me. The spring device doesn't push it out far enough for my fat fingers. I had to improvise tweezers with two twigs. Still, highly recommended. I'm ordering two more.

Battery hog
Have several older browning cams. Have multiple other camera brands as well, reconyx, stealth cam. Browning has the best quality video, in my opinion. However, this new camera sucks through the battery like I’ve never seen. I have a rechargeable 12v battery hooked up to it and it goes through it in less than a month. Older browning cams I have last a season with same setup and same video volume. Great video, good triggering speed, just a battery hog. May have to put mine on a rechargeable solar battery pack.

Not Wi-Fi
Connectivity says Wi-Fi. It is not Wi-Fi at all, but an SD card you have to swap out to view your photos. I would not have bought it if I would have known this. Furthermore, the entire face of this camera lights up like a Christmas tree when it’s taking videos, I’ve had cameras that have one or two blinking red lights but my gosh, are you serious? So forget about using it for any kind of security purposes. I also tested the detection range at night. It’s more like 20 feet not 80 like the description says. All in all there are much better options at a third of the price.

Does what it is supposed to do
Overall? This is an ideal trail-cam for 'casual' use. When set up correctly, it will capture just about anything that enters the field of view. The quality, thus far, is acceptable and I have had little to no problems identifying what camera captured or what is on the card. The memory card provided is in a word...small. I had to upgrade to a larger one to spare me the time of changing or checking everyday. Battery life? Rather what one would expect from a trail-cam operating 24/7. For what I do, and to make sure I have coverage, I change the batteries often. But that is me. Quick to setup, easy to use, and does a better-than-expected job. Recommendation would be to use this camera to learn how to use a trail-cam and as one gets more comfortable how to use a trail-cam and what it is for, this will definitely transition from that to a great camera to put out there. Works well and worth the effort.

Excellent video of my night time raider, a black bear caught in the act trashing my bird feeders. I ordered a second one after being pleased with the first.

I have two of these cameras which are used mainly overnight to record wildlife visitors to our garden and they take very clear images of badgers foxes and hedgehogs. It's no surprise they don't mage the moths but it is possible to distinguish bats. Fixing to posts a bit fiddly especially in the dark

The positives - quality, sturdy feel to the camera, and easy set up instructions. However, main issue is the battery life - it really did not last well and as a result the clips were incredibly poor and short. I had the camera on at night for hedgehog watching and ended up with shorter and shorter (5 second) clips that got worse each night despite setting it for 1 min clips. I tried different settings, I tried non-rechargeable, recharchable and different types of battery - each time the same issue...it could not capture footage for more than 10 seconds at night and just did loads of short clips that missed everything! So pretty useless really. I've had several other cameras that were way better than this so very disappointed in the Browning brand.

Very dissapointed in the product. I have been using trail cams that cost 1/4 for a while and wanted something more reliable, this has managed to be just as bad. The stap is crap but you can get your own I suppose.
