**Q: Are these bulbs back lit? My fixture has frosted globes that glowed with halogen bulbs**
A: I don’t know what a backlit bulb is so sorry
**Q: Do these bulbs allow some light to the sides? My fixtures are frosted glass on the sides to allow a glow and open in the front for direct light.**
A: I too have frosted shades around my light bulb & these do have a fairly wide spand of white light.
**Q: Dimming not working**
A: If the lights will not dim it may be because the dimmer switch is old and/or not compatible with the LED bulb.
**Q: What is the lowest light output? i.e. how bright are they when the dimmer is turned all the way down, but not off?**
A: For me, the light is too bright when the dimmer is turned all the way down. I wanted to use them as a night light and to leave them on when I leave for work before sunrise. I’ll get lower wattage next time.
