Removes Ticks Quickly and Thoroughly
We were searching local stores for this simple tick remover and couldn't locate one for our dogs. Finally went to Amazon and found it. It works great and we've used it a hundred times or more. So easy and quick.

Great product at a great price!
These arrived in a timely manner and I was pleasantly surprised to receive orange ones, instead of white. We have two already and they are great for getting ticks off dogs and ourselves, VERY simple to use and gets the entire tick every time. We keep them in our backpacks and take them anytime we are in the woods. I wanted to buy a couple more because we sometimes have a hard time finding them in the various packs and bags we have. I bought some small carabiners so I can clip these on the outside of bags making them easier to find (and being orange they should be even easier to spot).

Works perfectly! Ticks beware..
After a couple of months of trying to pull ticks off with my hands encased in plastic bags and all sorts of theatrics, I finally decided that there has to be a better way to pull off ticks from our dog. Enter.. Ticked Off! I received it yesterday, and when our dog home from the kennel today - I immediately found a couple of dog ticks on him, half-engorged - Ugh. Grabbed the tick spoon, carefully framed the tick between the crevice of the spoon and slid it forward - scooping up the tick successfully. Barely took 10 seconds, and the tick's head was intact. It didn't pull off any of the dog's skin (which is what happens when I use my fingers to pull a tick off). Fast, easy and effective. My next line of attack against the ticks will be Frontline Plus, and possibly Preventic collars - but that's another review or two!

Works great, esp for larger ticks
This makes it really easy to remove ticks from people or pets. It's a little tricky for really small ticks because they tend to rotate away from the bowl of the spoon. For those (the size of a period on a printed page) it can take a few tries to line them up properly. Overall, though, this is much easier than using tweezers or forceps.

Absolutely the greatest relief to remove ticks with only one set of hands!
I'm always in a panic about removing ticks (my 14 year-old dog never had a problem with them until last fall!) and luckily my husband is usually around to help pull back her long hair so I can get to the tick. We're both a bit freaked about doing it right/getting the whole tick. I ordered this "Ticked Off," tick remover and just used it for the first time. I was by myself..meaning one set of hands and the stupid creature was right by her eye. I ripped open the package and followed the swiping motion shown in the directions. It came off whole, and my poor old girl didn't even flinch (like she usually does when we go at her with tweezers). I'm thrilled with my purchase and because I read every review before making my purchase, I signed right on to Amazon to let everyone who may be looking for a solution know about this great product!

If you have pets you need this
Just got a change to use, tick came right off as the directions said. In fact my husband had a tick on his leg and it came right off all in tact as well. Lifesaver!!! Please got one or more than one!!

meh...
I have tried to use this 3 times so far, and no matter how tight I pull the area to get a good hold, it still tends to catch my dog's skin and nick him. He is not impressed with this and I tend to agree with him :) On two occasions, it did eventually remove the parasitic beast, but I'm not sure that it's going to be the first thing I grab whenever I notice a tick.
