I bought it for the stop watch to time my breaks while I'm at work... And it does exactly what I needed besides the time. Time is accurate. The stop watch is easy to access and operate. Two buttons presses gets you started. Also easy to reset. Bonus feature, one button press gets the screen to light up and the light is just as bright as it needs to be for you to see the time. When I need to check the time right after I wake up in the middle of the night, a dim light is all I need so I don't have to stare at an extremely bright smart device screen which always feels like staring into a car's headlights right after waking up. The material is strong but does not look more expensive, if you're looking for something that looks expensive, this isn't it. But if you're looking for something reliable that is strong, resistant, and practical, this is the right watch.

Considering the price point, the quality is excellent. I had a Suunto a few years back and had to return it because it just gobbled up a battery every few days. I didn’t really need the extra functions that piece provided but I did want the general look and size and this works perfectly. I stuck to the black again although I may add their other 3(?) colors at some point, given the price. (I thought I saw a yellow in another review but I don’t see that offered right now. Would be sweet). Anyway, couldn’t be happier. It’s big but lightweight and the strap fits well and is so comfortable you forget you’re wearing it. Set up is easy when using the little instruction booklet. Has a date display and a brightness button to illuminate the time when dark. As with all watches, use the lume sparingly to extend battery life. I don’t get my watches close to water beyond the occasional splash when washing hands etc so I can’t speak to water resistance because it’s not high on my list. I have maybe a dozen watches of various expensive and budget brands for all occasions and suddenly this is on my wrist more than the rest. How did that happen? Had a question for the seller which they responded to quickly and fully so this isn’t some no name brand where nobody is home once you get your watch delivered. Recommended. This watch is so inexpensive, I really want to give it 5 stars. But a couple of big issues almost have me give it a very low rating instead. Pros: + Cost (Pretty Cheap) + Lightweight + Tells time & date + Looks nice. Could pass as a “smart watch”. I think it has an expensive look. + Pretend your the Equalizer! 16 seconds! Lol! (Suunto style watch) + Chronograph works fine Cons: - Hard to read the time! Illumination is very poor. I should be able to read the time in a fraction of a second. This one takes a second or two sometimes for me to see it clearly. -Defect. Mine came with an imperfection in the top left corner of the face. It looks like a crack on the inside, because I can clearly see it, but I can’t feel it. I decided to live with it, but regret it every time I look at the time. -Can’t turn off the beeps (eg when using the chrono) I own around 20 watches, mostly in the $100 range, but a few are quite more. I wanted a watch I could work in and not mind getting broken. I was going to buy a more expensive tactical watch that takes a beating, but kept seeing this one. Could it make me look like Denzel? (Another Suunto Equalizer watch joke.) I do not use in water. This watch really does look good. It looks like a smart watch with a screen that can do so much more, but it’s actually a pretty dumb watch. Sadly, the lighting is so dim, sometimes I can hardly see the time! But it’s so inexpensive, if you’re sitting on the fence, just get it!

I got it as a birthday gift for my 13 year old brother, he loves the sporty look and the dial. I was afraid that the dial may be too large for a teenager but it fits and looks great. For the price, the watch is fantastic. It serves the purpose of telling time and setting a timer perfectly. My only complaint is that the numbers could be a little easier to read if the backlit screen wasn’t so dim. You will eventually adjust to the dull screen but it would have been nicer to have a brighter screen. Update: The metal watch clasp randomly broke and I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a brand new watch within 2 days time. Amazing customer service! Would definitely purchase again!!
