Sweet Pea Tangle Remover Spray

My dogs have very long fur which sometimes gets matted especially around their ears. Have used other products in the past but didnt really do much as still had to pull at the matt to get it out. Tried this and followed the instructions, then used a comb to clear the matt and it worked. Didnt pull at the dogs fur, no pain for the dogs and quite a pleasant smell. Have used it a lot especially when they go over the wood or running around muddy fields and fur gets tangled Highly recommend. Less pain for dog, less stress for both very happy. Delivery excellent and well packaged.

Great product but very strong when you spray onto dog make sure to wear mask as otherwise you can taste the bitterness from fumes

That stuff is amazing! Of course I had to try it on my own tongue first and trust me when I say it - it works! Bitter taste is intense and immediate, lasting 2-3 minutes. "Rethink your life choices" kind of intense but not so much it would actually cause distress. However as the bitter taste mellows down quickly - it stays there for about two hours afterwards. "Ghost" kind of aftertaste, barely noticeable but making sure that you never want to repeat that experience. Absolutely fantastic balance between being a really effective deterrent and being gentle enough not to cause trauma or real distress to beloved pets.

I’ve had mixed results from this product. It seems to work well if I spray where my puppy accidentally pee’s in the house and deters him from using that spot again. However it doesn’t seem to stop him biting anything.

Review has been edited following continued use: Smells and tastes awful. Try as you might, it gets into the air and you will personally be able to taste it (mildly) for an hour. The puppy was initially caught off guard by it… and we think it has reduced biting initially. But it did NOT stop it. On items where the puppy had acquired a habit of chewing the puppy just powered through. On items where we saw initial results, I recently re-sprayed to keep up the protection - this made it worse. The puppy was drawn to the sprayed areas and started chewing them more than ever. It's almost like the strong flavour made it more interesting this time. Disappointed that it didn't have the desired affect. Our puppy isn't even particularly drawn to disgusting things - the spray just does not work on the dog. I can sure taste it though.

Easy to use, helps with tangles and does not irritate my dogs skin. Love all the products in this range, and great value for money.

I like the Tropiclean eye discharge cleaner so I thought I'd try this detangling spray as I can't find the Julia Harris spray I normally use. Big difference......not for the better for us! The spray head on the bottle can be as a spray or a more direct line. You'd thing the spray would be light but it is pretty powerful and uncomfortable for my poochon. This may sound daft, but it is a very wet spray too, which my dog hates. My previous one was a fine body mist. I've learned to spray into my hands and then put it onto her fur. After I've finished with brushing and combing, my dog then rolls around trying to get dry....what was the point then!!! The plus points are it does have a lovely fragrance and no itching afterwards.

Definitely works! I have an 8 month old kitty that likes to chew through very expensive cords. After replacing hundreds of $$$ in chargers, adapters, headphones, etc…, we ware at our wits' ends. I read all the reviews, and was worried about the cord covers because of the chemical smells they produced. The bitrix that is in this product has been proven safe and effective. After trying it, I can confirm its effectiveness. I have observed her closely, and Kitty has attempted to chew on cords doused with the spray, but has promptly stopped once she has tasted the cords. It has been almost 2 weeks, and I have only sprayed them once. I am not sure when I will need to treat them again, but I'm happy with the longevity of the product's effectiveness thus far. When spraying an object, I recommend that you do so in a well-ventilated area, where there are no fans nor wind. Keep your mouth closed tightly, and don't spray too much at one time. The aerosol lingers, and if you get in your mouth, you will be sorry. It doesn't make you sick, but it is very unpleasant and it takes quite awhile to get rid of the taste. Other than that, I have no complaints. Very happy that our cords and cat are safe again.

Our dog still chewed everything but I don't know if it is because he is a lunatic or the product doesn't really work.

Smells good. Will purchase it again as long as the price stays affordable
