Perfect Peace: in Imperfect Times

This is one of the best books I have ever read. I have read it straight through, in one day, then read it again and again. It is meant to be read a day at a time for 31 days (each month). I now read it 2 days at a time, i.e. on day 2, I read both day 1 and day 2. on day 3 I read both day 2 and day 3 and so on through the month. I have read the whole book at least 30 times, and I still find things I didn't notice before. I have learned to relax, to slow my mind down and so much more. The print is easy to read and double spaced. A great author.

I love all of Dan Walsh's books. This one, however, is the very best. I have lost count of the number of times I have read it. I have it on my Kindle. I have bought several copies for family and friends. Two of my friends were as thrilled with it as I am. I'm thinking of buying more as I can think of others who may benefit from reading it. It continues to be a blessing from the Lord to me daily. Thank you Dan Walsh.

Once in a while, we pick up a book and almost immediately know that it's a keeper, one we will hate to see end. We might be inclined to read it again, and again, finding new messages each time. Such is Dan Walsh 's book. I can't tell you what it will mean to you, which days will speak to you. But I can tell you that if you let it, it can have a lasting impact on your life. Sorry, Dan, but I don't think you get the majority of the credit for this one , you clearly had a Co-Author, some Divine intervention. My friends would tell you I'm not religious, perhaps spiritual at best. They'd also tell you I'm a control freak. I'll tell you that this book is truly helping me, and indirectly a child who is presently struggling with a lot of fear and anxiety, to "let go and let God. " Why did I choose this book? Because I' recently became a Dan Walsh groupie, after reading his dog series (and I admit reading parts aloud to my dog!). I've read and loved all of his books except the mysteries. When I came across this one sleepless night, I thought not my style, but what the heck. Yep, I had really low expectations for this one. Now I know it was no accident that I picked it up. If you want to find some peace and be happier, and maybe even be able to make a small difference in this imperfect world, buy this book! It will help you find or renew your faith in God. I know I sound corny but I'm sincere - if you're reading this review, you're meant to read the book!

This devotional written by Dan Walsh is a perfect way to start your day. I highly recommend this as well as leaving time to pray with God! Don't be in a hurry, God may have a few things to talk to you about, too! Thanks, Dan!

The world is going through difficult times right now. This book has good Biblical insights on stopping worry and finding God's peace in your life. It can be read again and again.
