Excellent
As a new owner of a M1 Garand, I needed all the information I could get to keep it working properly. I have a fully restored original and have shot it a number of times. What a rush. More importantly is to make sure it is properly cleaned and taken care of afterwards. This Manual, did all that. I know I will enjoy this rifle for years.

A great guide for the Maintenance for one of the most influential pieces of equipment from World War II

Informative, yet is hard to follow if you don’t have knowledge of the M1 parts and function. As a manual., it should be “KISS”. A recruit should be able to follow it without much instruction.

Good Basic Book
I ordered two M1s from the CMP. This book will be very useful and I am glad this book is available since the rifle has not been made for 50+ years.
