What is the size of the ball joint on the mount?

My caliper shows 16.7mm +/- for variation, but I have numerous plastic ball joints in my truck, this in my bathroom, a long stem mount, etc. and they all seem to be compatible, from car to home. The good thing is, if it doesn't fit the ball you want to put it on, refunds aren't an issue with Amazon and, I'm speaking from experience!
