It’s a spring base
Spring base for external wired whip lights with quick disconnect. Worked as expected. They are stiff but I noticed the powder coat made the coils stick, just flex them a little and you hear them separating. Knocked a star off cause they do have a little bit of a wobble in the qd.

Will handle any light whip you have
I tried to bend them by hand and it seemed way to stiff but you put a light whip on they take 80% of the bend so the light whips dont have to very heavy duty highly recommend
