This is the one I have. It works pretty well. It is a good miroscope for what I am doing! **Q: Can you see organelles?** A: I would venture a weary yes. I havent quite gotten to that point yet. But i have seen larger cells (bacteria and yeasts i believe) that have burst open or been crushed and have seen some of the structure inside. However I have yet to order stains, so I havent done much on that front. My scope came with dirty optics, but after a cleaning the 40x objective 25x eyepiece (1000x) pulls a decent image to the eye without immersion. I can tell you, I am a mom. I have a teenager who really wants to get into the medical field. She loves looking at everything through a microscope. (she soon may have more microscope pictures on her cell phone then selfies!) I can tell you I spent literally months reading reviews of microscopes, checking descriptions, pictures, etc. I didn't want a piece of plastic that was going to be broken before the Christmas decorations were put away. I wanted a solid unit that worked well and didn't break the bank. She has no had this for two months and we are completely satisfied. The unit is sturdy. The controls are easy to use.
