This is a really good product, robust enough for general site use. Yes it is only Imperial - but it was meant for the US market and happily I'm old enough to use whatever system I want.

What can I say - I love Dewalt tools! This measuring tape is great. The casing is strong with added protection in case it's dropped. The belt clip works very well and is easy to remove which comes in handy when working from a ladder. The measuring tape itself is sturdy, retracts beautifully, and the numbers are easy to read even from a distance. Overall a great measuring tape!

Yeah baby! This is exactly what professional carpenters need. This tape measure is extra strong, extra durable, extra efficient in day-to-day use. It will take a beating and keep on repeating long after all the others have died and failed. You can extend this tape measure beyond 10 feet and it’s still won’t kink or buckle. The retraction mechanism is perfect. The locking mechanism is tight and works without any flaws. You could drop this tape from two stories above, and I doubt that the case would crack. I highly recommend this 30 foot tape measure for anyone that wants good quality that will last them for a good long, long time. Oh, and the red numbering system makes it a breeze to see just a glance; the readability of this tape measure is unbeatable. It’s the best one I’ve ever had!

I like this tape measure. I have always trusted DeWalt and this tape measure did not let me down. Nice and thick. I have had it out to 10' without bending or twisting. It shows fractions which is a plus. The numbers are large and easy to read without my reading glasses, another plus for me. The lock and clip work good. It is very rugged and good quality. My only complaint is that the when the tape measure is set down on a surface it rests on the catch at the end of the tape and does not rest on the case itself. This might cause problems over time.
