Works as intended and super easy to install. Fits standard sliding glass doors. I wish there was a feature to block the flap to prevent pets from going inside/outside instead of taking it out of the door frame but it’s easy enough to move so not a big deal. Just make sure you can fit through the remaining width of the open door otherwise you’ll have to remove it and put it back (though it’s easy to do). My 2 dogs can go through it easily. The largest is my standard sized golden doodle (60#).

Easy to put up and down whenever I need it. It took my cats months to figure out the door but after they learned it's the become perfect solution to letting them out on my patio and keeping bugs out. If i want to keep the door open overnight I simply lift the screw tightener and take it down.

Great screen door just wish it had (like other pet doors) a door sleeve to slide and block pet door / exit when needed.

1. the product is easy to install, EXCEPT for the fact that its design didn't factor in the sliding door lock mechanism that keeps the dog door from being flush to the frame, so we had to remove the lock. 2. its material seems to be sturdy enough for our 2 little ones. 3. the weather isn't a big factor, no direct sun on ours, and maybe occasional blowing rain from the patio, so only time will tell. 4. I could give a 5 star to the overall score, but for 1 MAJOR issue - who's misguided idea was it to use a frosted flap door instead of a clear one?! We HATE the frosted flap door! Animals are visual! The flap needs to be clear so they can see where they're going & what's on the other side! My 2 are having the hardest time with that! I have to push or pull the flap, just enough to show them the way is clear to go out or come in - but each time they have to use it again, they stop because they can't see. If you make a clear one, I'd appreciate a replacement please! I'm sure other pet owners have experienced the same issue, if not I will apologize. But if you provide a clear flap, or can direct me to finding one, I would, and my dogs would also, greatly appreciate it! Thanks, a semi-satisfied customer.

Hey! Just wanted to share some info about the dog door we got. My male golden retriever is 85lbs, and I had a handyman assemble it. I had to buy an extender for my taller door, which is 87 inches. The dog door isn't very secure though; if the dog rushes out, it can come off the track. But if he goes out calmly, it stays in place pretty well. The mastiff doesn’t fit in it or just doesn't use it since he has a larger one on another door. Another negative one the slider needs to be open in order the dog door to be in use. For the value I’m ok with it. Probably more suitable for small/med breeds, but its ok.

This is as easy as it gets, it works perfect for my sliding glass doors. I have a dog who loves to go in and out all the time on sunny days. I slap this in and she’s good to go. It’s adjustable so you don’t have to measure the length, it’s ready to go right out of the box.
