Adding a banana will make the shake thicker and creamier too. I've found that, despite its mild odour, it has a rather acidic taste to it. To the point that after a few days of it I can't bring myself to drink any more. To make matters worse, it's the messiest powder I've had to deal with, too. It's difficult to mix. It clumps up very easily, leaving half the mass stuck to the inside of the shaker. Not only that, something about it seems to "fizz" so the shaker ends up oozing the mix out seal between the bottle and lid, or causing a rather explosive exit when you pop the lid on the shaker. I've got about 0.9kg of a 1kg bag left, and it's going in the bin.
