But wide enough for slightly larger bread, so that's good. The bright red is nice but not obnoxiously red. We even got a compliment on it from a visitor. The rotary knobs are light teal, same as the toaster, and not black like in the picture. I prefer them like that, looks really aesthetic and cute. It works amazing, perfect toasts.
