Bought these to replace the other style I had been using (the long rods with the little spots you snap the sockets on to) because the previous method was getting chaotic. These are magnetic both for the sockets and attaching the whole organizer to something metal. In my case, they all fit in one of the drawers to my tool organizer, and even the deep sockets standing upright still leave enough clearance for the drawer to close completely. And now I know what sockets I am missing, have lost, people misplaced, etc.

These are well made and at a great price. Having 3 of each makes having 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drives or normal and deep well all separated and organized. Really nice stuff. Here's where it almost lost a star: I was hoping to mount these on the side of my metal cabinet and while the magnets are plenty powerful to hold each block to the cabinet, they aren't close to powerful enough to hold the sockets in place when they are sitting sideways. A buddy of mine has a different brand that is the same. I know - I'm stupid for wanting to mount these sideways, right? Yeah, probably...

Magnets are strong and solid for sticking to tool boxes, shelves, car jack for working underneath car which is very convenient not having constantly go back to tool box. Doesn't leave any any markings or hurt paint on side of car either. Socket labels are visible and nice for deep well and shallow sockets. Quality is great and durable if dropped or even ran over especially for the price. Only complaint is the access space around each socket holder, would prefer a tighter fit. Would recommend for any mechanic especially without a car lift you can roll a cart under.

What I was expecting was much different than what I received. Much better layout and magnetization strength than I thought they would be. Many times in the past the holders were great for sitting in the drawer only to be substandard and loose when you started moving around the work area with them. Not this holder. I dropped one from about a foot while working and every socket stayed in place. And everyone knows how 10mm’s like to run away and hide. Not in this sturdy socket prison. It’s a good product at a great price.

Product is what it says it is, but WAY larger than you might expect. Most socket pocket sizes are quite a bit oversized too. If you have a limited of number of sockets, these might be OK for you. I see nothing wrong with the build quality. Unfortunately this one will be going back home to Amazonland.
