Strong, Whole-House WiFi 7 Coverage With Just Two Access Points
Running a pair of these TP-Link EAP770 WiFi 7 access points in my home, one upstairs and one downstairs, and the coverage has been excellent. Between the two of them, I get strong signal throughout the entire house with no dead zones to speak of. Roaming between the two access points has been seamless, with devices handing off cleanly without dropping connections. WiFi 7 performance lives up to expectations. Speeds on capable client devices are noticeably faster than the WiFi 6 access points I had before, and the tri-band setup helps keep the network responsive even with a lot of devices connected. The 2.5G uplink port is the right choice here since it lets the access point actually deliver the bandwidth that WiFi 7 is capable of. PoE+ powering keeps the install clean. One cable handles both data and power, which means no wall warts hanging off the access points. The DC adapter is included in the box for anyone who needs it, but PoE is the way to go if your network supports it. Omada integration is the real strength here for anyone already running Omada gear. Configuration through the controller is straightforward, and managing two access points feels like managing one. Captive portal, WPA3, mesh, and the rest of the business features are all there if you want to use them. Build quality looks appropriate for ceiling or wall mounting and the access points are reasonably low profile once installed. The five year warranty is reassuring for a piece of equipment expected to run around the clock. For anyone looking to upgrade to WiFi 7 in an Omada based network, these are a strong choice that should serve well for years to come.

The EAP772-Outdoor is a powerhouse
The EAP772-Outdoor is a powerhouse. Its throughput and stability are exactly what I needed for my setup. A huge shoutout for the seamless AFC integration, which makes utilizing the 6GHz band outdoors painless. While the unit is excellent, I’d love to see a minor revision to the antenna system in future models to push it to a full 5 stars. Still, it's easily one of the best outdoor Wi-Fi 7 options available.

EZ setup, works with xfinity, guest network works with desired protection, speed, range.
I just wanted a simple guest network for my kiddo and guests to use with my leased Xfinity Innomedia MTA6328 box and couldn't find any coherent advice whether this would be possible or compatible nor any advice what to buy. After struggling 6 hours unsuccessfully then returning a new WAS210 then unsuccessfully trying an old EX7000 I bought and tried this TP-link EAS650. It took literally 20 minutes to configure and install without experiencing a single obnoxious timeout! A single 650 in a corner of the house next to the modem now covers the entire 1300sqft 3br 3ba 2 story townhouse with a separate guest network to replace the beyond awful unreliable marketing "hotspot" built into my leased Xfinity/Comcast box. https://tp-linkeap.net did not connect to the config page for configuration, so I had to use the Xfinity app on my phone to find the DHCP assigned IP address to use to setup the 650. I ignored the Quick Setup pamphlet which was useless and did not even mention Guest mode, and the QR videos which I couldn't access, I used "standalone mode" to configure the 650 without using any controller and without any Omada App and without bridge mode. I have the Network ID and pw set the same for both frequencies and guest mode is turned on for both frequencies. Devices on the 650 see the internet but cannot seem to see each other nor see any resources connected to the Xfinity box upstream of the 650 which is exactly what I want on for security on the guest nw. The Xfinity box speed is 1.3Gb download/100Mbps up. My cellphone on the 650 from the opposite corner of the house gets 350Mbps download / 40up even when my son is gaming. I should now be able to watch streaming movies in a lounge chair at the pool downstairs while sipping Margaritas!!! :P Thank you for a fabulous product and a wonderful configuration experience TP-Link I wish I could give you more than 5 stars!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Another fantastic network device from TP-Link
Throughout the years I have tried numerous different network devices from different manufacturers, but the one that always surpasses the competition is TP-Link. Their quality is always top notch and compared to other brands, they beat them all, so when I found this WiFi 7 access point I was excited to try it out. I already had everything laid out while waiting for it to deliver, so installation was a breeze, especially considering that everything you need to install this access point is in the box. I went with a standard wall mount using a gang box with the wiring already present from a removed device. After getting this installed and up and running, I was blown away by how much more coverage area I got, as well as the more reliable speed it provided. I chose to not attach the included antennas since this access point has antennas built into the main body, but I like that the option is there if I wanted the extra range the attachable antennas would provide. Yes this access point is on the expensive side, but when it comes to network components, you get what you pay for and this access point delivers! *** Vine Review Program Disclaimer: My goal, as part of the Vine program, is to provide honest feedback on product quality, function, and other details that matter to YOU. Sleek design, easy install and large wifi coverage
We have a small back yard that had poor/inconsistent wifi reception areas . My husband likes to work on his computer outside during the summer months so I wanted to extend our outdoor wifi connectivity. This extender enhanced wifi capability and stability in our back hard. I am even able to walk quite a distance from our home while staying connected to our wifi. Game changer!

Reliable AP. Reasonably Priced. Good Performance.
For my home, I prefer a traditional access point connected via Ethernet to a stand-alone wired router rather than an integrated consumer appliance. After 5 years with WiFi-5, it was time to upgrade to WiFi-6. The EAP650 supports that newer standard, providing an improvement in overall performance. In use, it has been completely reliable, with no slowdowns or lagging. Provides a strong signal throughout the house. Supports VLANs, and multiple SSIDs on each frequency band. Easy to configure using a web browser. Firmware can be updated through the UI without needing to download the file to a PC first. Very nice.

Faster than my previous WAP
I purchased this to replace a TP-Link WAP that was 2.4 years old and slowed down to a crawl the last few weeks for some reason. I elected to purchase this new model even though the price was a lot more, since I tend to keep electronic items for a long time. The WAP in my shop is 11 years old. The install was standard and I could do everything from the browser. I do wish the device came with a static IP to make it easier, but not a big deal. I gave the "WIFI" 4 stars because I was about 100 feet from the building in an open field and the signal was average. Since this WAP is mounted high and there is nothing around this building, I thought my phone would receive a better signal (my expectation could be incorrect). With that said, the speed in the building is over 250 which is way more than I need. I believe my previous WAP was around 55. Configuration took about 7 minutes and once I rebooted the device, my 17 devices all received an IP address and started working. Very smooth install.

Reliably easy AP to deploy. No song and dance or annoying beachballing while waiting for pageloads.
Short version: Works good. Longer version: Set this up tonight, replacing an older router in AP mode that served my office. First of all, I loved that the setup was easy and without the modern fuss of being hassled into downloading an app and using a phone. I just grabbed the device's IP from my ISP modem-router, and it had been auto-assigned 192.168.1.69. Nice. Browsing there, from a laptop that was on another wireless broadcast altogether, I was able to set up a local admin user, name my broadcast networks, turn on a third network that auto-handoffs between 2.4ghz and 5ghz based on its own optimizations, and I rifled through the rest of the options before updating the firmware uneventfully. Without troubleshooting my segment of the network and the direction of the AP at all, my laptop got 400 and 600mbps speedtests, when I normally have to be on a wired connection in the house to exceed that. The range carries through my office, and I'm using this AP with its own standalone BSID, for simplicity's sake. Connectivity handshakes are swift, and I hope to rely on it for many years to come. I was bummed to realize only after ordering it that it is missing the 6GHz channel (BE5000 devices are generally lighter in their implementation of WiFi 7) but that's survivable, I have very few activities which necessitate greater speeds and I am already seeing more robust throughput than on the yesteryear TP-Link that it had replaced. 5/5 does what it says it will.

A fast AP
A svelte upgrade from a 670 or older. It has a newer backplate with hole alignment with the older backplate.

Great Product
Set up was a little confusing reading the directions. But after installing the app and following step-by-step, it was easy to figure out. The AX 3000 EPA 650 outdoor once installed works amazing. My outdoor Wi-Fi went from 25 MB to over 700 MB. After it was all connected. Make sure to do your research to see if this will work for you. It is a good product and provides great wifi signal where needed. I noticed that any trees or other obstructions very quickly reduce the signal. So make sure you place it in an area that will offer the best coverage.
